December 13 Houston Meetup

On December 13th we had our second meetup of the Houston Modeling Industry Professionals. The meetup was held at The Coffee Groundz and was hosted by myself and Robert of R & J Photography. The meetup is a networking event for photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists, and anyone interested in the industry in Houston. We had a great turnout with models, agency representatives, photographers, stylists, actors, and designers from all over the Houston area. We decided to setup some lights and do a little shooting - you know you can't have that many people in the business in one place without a shoot happening :) - and here are some of my images captured at the event. Leonora and Kessia

I recently had a shoot with Leonora and Kessia, my Brazilian friends from Katy, and these two are a real joy to work with. Although we had a great time during the shoot, the best time is during image review...I've gotten some great responses in the past when we review images but these two by far are the most fun! Thanks for the "Hsh" and "hum hummmm's" :) and the best part is they are fans of Mariza....I knew my wife and I weren't the only Fado fans in Katy! Ok..ok..on to the photos :)

Lacie Marie - It's Always Fun!

This was shoot 1,001 with Lacie Marie and I look forward to another 1,001 :) Great model, great person, and she even does her own makeup...it is always a pleasure to work with her! Stay tuned for much more of Lacie in 2010 (ok Lacie...no retirement from either of us now..lol)...but for now here's a few from our 2009 close-out shoot...

November 14 - D & Q Made It Happen!

On November 14th I teamed up with Q. Guillory for a day of shooting in Houston, TX. This was the last photoshoot special of 2010 and we wanted to make sure the participants would have a day to remember. The shoot took place at Red Triangle Studios and makeup was provided by Hayley S. Scott. Here is a sample of the memories made that day...

Ms. Mavis!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Mavis Jackson on November 14, 2009. A photoshoot with me was one of the prizes given on July 4th at the Tweetup for Our Troops event in Houston, TX and Ms. Jackson won the shoot but I was the real winner. She was indeed a pleasure to work with and I hope to have the opportunity to shoot with her again :)

Kellye and John

On a cold Houston morning...yes, we do get some cold mornings :), I met with Kellye and John for their engagement session. Not only did the brave the weather but they arrived at 6:45am to beat the bright Houston sun...now they are some real troopers!
